Shayna Lear Harvey, CFP®, ChFC, MDiv
Shayna serves as the Managing Director of The Insight Advisory Group. She is responsible for the investment management, financial planning, client service and overall vision for the company.
Shayna was born and raised in Philadelphia, specifically in the Germantown section of the city. She attended Central High School (255!) and Temple University, where she obtained a B.A. in Communications. She went on to study at Palmer Theological Seminary and Eastern University, where she obtained a Master's in Divinity and Master's in International Development respectively.
She has served in the financial services industry since May 2000 in various roles, including, Financial Advisory, Advisory Coach, District Manager, Franchisee, Wealth Manager and now as an Independent Registered Investment Advisor. She obtained her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2003 and her Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 2003.
Her first book, Money On Purpose: Finding a Faith-Filled Balance was published in 2012 by Judson Press and is available here. She has also written articles for various publications, and participated in the Theological Consultation on Prosperity Theology in Såo Paulo, Brazil in 2014.
Shayna enjoys travel, reading, playing basketball and cooking in her spare time. She is married to Frederick L. Harvey, II and they reside in Delaware County, PA.
